SITE SAFETY AND HEALTH OFFICER SCOPE OF WORK

The SSHO or an equally qualified Alternate SSHO must always be at the work site to implement and administer the Government-Approved Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Contractor’s Safety Plan.
If the SSHO is off-site for a period of no more than 24 hours, the Alternate SSHO must fulfill the same roles and responsibilities as the primary SSHO.
