Critical Path Scheduling (CPM Scheduling) is a project planning and scheduling tool to plan and schedule essential activities to complete the project. By identifying which elements or activities of the project are related to one another, the critical path schedule helps determine which processes are “critical path activities” for project completion. This project plan schedules critical tasks to be completed early and secondary tasks to be delayed (float) without risking delay of the project.
