BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Project is for the repair and renovation of Building 1456 at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Work consists of roofing material system replacement, repair of the mezzanine men’s restroom and a first floor women’s restroom to meet accessibility requirements; replacement of roll-up doors, non-functioning high-bay window operating devices, fire alarm system, mezzanine’s air conditioning system, suspended acoustical ceiling, suspended drywall ceiling, transformer and associated electrical support, fire sprinkler system; removal of abandoned ducts, pipes, and acid mist fume collector at the steam clean room; and replacement and relocation of an above ground waste tank. Work will be performed in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by May 2018.

QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER SCOPE OF WORK

  • Procedures for tracking preparatory, initial, and follow-up control phases; control, verification, and acceptance tests including documentation
  • Coordination of project logistics, materials and equipment
  • Managing the day-to-day quality control activities
  • Kept designated personnel and management staff apprised of status of work
  • Ensured all reports were prepared and submitted in accordance with the QC Plan, including the Daily Quality Control Reports
  • Maintained all the project quality control files
  • Reported and logged any work not meeting Spec requirements
  • Recorded all data in QCS database
