Chrome Plating Facility – Watervliet, NY

Repair and replacement of major components of the large caliber chrome plating area, specifically the 120 mm pit. This area is used for cannon tube plating, and includes chrome plating tanks, rectifiers, cold rinse tanks, and electropolish tanks. These tanks are divided into 2 plating lines. The existing pumps have operated beyond their useful life and need to be replaced. Many of the control elements are nonfunctional and need to be replaced to control the process. Project is a Design-Bid-Build.
